If you need to restore data from a recent backup, it can be accessed quickly as the data is readily available on-site in the NAS. Hybrid backup promises to solve the scaling issues of on-site backup systems, and the latency issues of cloud-only backup solutions. In Hybrid systems, the backed up data is replicated directly to the public cloud providers.
Image Based Backup
Image-based backup is the practice of backing up an entire storage media by creating an “image” of the disk or drive. This backup solution, which is popular in many enterprise systems, involves cloning the whole storage media or an operating system partition instead of backing up individual files.
